I am so lucky to have two talented women that help me run my business and let me do what I love to do – they make my life much easier and I am so thankful for both of them. Since I’ve taken photos of both of them, I thought I’d show you who they are and tell you a little about them!
Chances are if you’ve emailed the studio, you’ve corresponded with Meg. She takes care of all of the email and does all of the scheduling. Meg is a busy mother of three busy boys but still manages to be the most organized person I’ve ever met AND manages to keep me in line! How does she do it?? Meg is seriously the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. Seriously. But, she also has the perfect amount of sass and humor mixed right in! I know this because she is also one of my dearest friends. I met Meg when our oldest boys were in preschool – I was new to the school and didn’t know a soul, she was also new to the school and didn’t know many people either. I asked my son on one of the first days who he wanted to have a playdate with and lucky for me it was Meg’s son! Meg and I became fast friends and neither one of us can believe our boys are about to finish the 6th grade!!!!
I feel so lucky that when Meg decided that she was ready to go back to work, instead of going back to the corporate (and let’s face it much higher paying!!) world, Meg took me up on my offer of coming to work with me – and I am so thrilled that she did!!!! When Meg isn’t answering email and trying to keep me organized, she loves to travel, she’s a great golfer, an avid reader and she is originally from Cincinnati! (oh, and drop-dead gorgeous, too!)
After you’ve had your photo session and it’s time to see your images – that’s when you also get to meet Geraldine!! Geraldine takes clients through all of their images and helps them select their prints, products and packages. I remember the first time I met Geraldine – I had placed an ad on Craigslist and had narrowed down the job applicants to about 5 to interview. Geraldine was like a breath of fresh air, and after talking to her for about 3 minutes it was clear that she was the obvious choice for the position. That was 5 years ago! I don’t get to see Geraldine all that often – we aren’t at the studio at the same time, but when I do get to see her I love spending time with her! She’s always smiling (by the way, her smile is infectious!), always positive, always willing to help out in anyway that she can. She’s also a very good photographer – if you’re on Instagram – check her out at bluegerri. Geraldine is also a college student, loves to spend her free time with friends and family, loves to take photos, and is originally from Nigeria! (and, yes, she’s also a knock-out!!)
