forty years of marriage, that is. i had the privilege of photographing this couple as they celebrated their *fortieth* wedding anniversary! they were surrounded by their children and grandchildren – it couldn’t have been more perfect.

can you be authentic if you’re wearing a fake smile? can you be genuine if you’re saying “cheeeeeeese?” is it real if your kids are sitting still and doing the two aforementioned? i don’t think so . . .
these are the luckiest kids -they have one of the coolest chicks i know as a mom. it was so fun to spend time with my dear friend and her fabulous family!! i hope we get to hang out again soon – and so does my three year old – who is in love...

i’m not kidding. not only is every member of this family beautiful, they are such nice people that are really easy to be around. you may recognize big sister from an earlier session – well meet baby brother – who is just as sweet. babies and kids never cease to amaze me....
