had such fun in the studio with this little beauty! she was a little shy at first, but believe me when i say that didn’t last long! pretty soon she was laughing and having so much fun . . .

i’ve heard from many of you about my lack of blog activity – i know, i know – i’ve been a slacker! so, over the next couple of weeks i’ll be catching up my blog on recent sessions.

these two are repeat clients who are such great kids! this session was at one of chicago’s fabulous parks!

This little one was so much fun! She was so smiley and would stop what she was doing to look at the camera and smile – so cute! She also had so much fun giving her big furry friend treats.

This was a great studio session from this past weekend – such a fun family! Mom and Dad were so cool and baby was just a dreamy little guy!

yesterday i had a session at the nature museum in lincoln park – i hadn’t been there in a couple of years and had forgotten how much fun it is! they have many cool exhibits – for kids and adults! i loved the butterfly house, but i really liked the outside part of the museum – as did my tour guides! (see below)

i always wanted a sister. no offense to my younger brother – who is great, don’t get me wrong! but i’m fairly certain my brother would never want to go shoe shopping with me or help me pick out a lipstick. then again, i’ve never asked him. i could be wrong. it happens. sometimes.

these sisters were great – they got along so well and loved, loved, loved getting their pictures taken! which was so fun for me!

summer photography fun event at zozo for kids – a huge success!!

Thanks to all the great families who came to shalimar b photography’s and zozo for kids’ summer photo event – i had so much fun! i literally went home and told my husband, “i love what i do!” the weather was perfect and the kids were all so sweet! see for yourself below!

for those that don’t know – i teamed up with a great children’s clothing boutique in andersonville (zozo for kids at 5137 n. clark) and we had a day of free mini photo sessions. each family scheduled their session at zozo for kids. we hope to do another event in the fall and i will be offering holiday cards at that time. look for info at shalimarbphotography.com and blog.shalimarbphotography.com. tell your friends!
