had such fun in the studio with this little beauty! she was a little shy at first, but believe me when i say that didn’t last long! pretty soon she was laughing and having so much fun . . .

trying to keep up with all my sessions lately! spring is in the air – a great time for outdoor sessions and just in time for mother’s day!! this little cutie was such a treat – with his curly hair and big blue eyes!!!

i love drool. on babies, that is. i love a chubby, happy baby that has a string of drool hanging from his mouth. and i think it’s perfectly appropriate to capture that in a photo – depending on the context of the photo. passport photo, probably not. senior picture, i don’t think so. 6 month old photos – absolutely!

i also love unexpected kisses . . .

can you be authentic if you’re wearing a fake smile? can you be genuine if you’re saying “cheeeeeeese?” is it real if your kids are sitting still and doing the two aforementioned? i don’t think so . . .

that was this little one’s favorite song!!! we listened to it a lot during our session – like, the whole time! dad wanted to change the song but little miss would have none of it! i thought it was great. definitely a girl who knows what she wants!!!

i had so much fun with these two sisters - such little sweeties. mom and dad were cool, too! love capturing those newborn sleeping smiles – what in the world are they thinking?? that it’s great to be a newborn, maybe?!

navy pier, that is! this was my second session with this little beauty! she was so happy and had so much fun checking out all of the flowers and plants and fountains! every once in awhile she would stop to pick a flower (ssshhhh, don’t tell!)

little miss s was so sweet – we chatted and had so much fun the entire time i was with her. we talked about princesses and the colors of the rainbow – all sorts of things! miss s is already a little sister, but soon she’ll be a big sister!! stay tuned . . .

this was a fun day in the park! i love images of siblings that show a glimpse of what it’s like to have a brother or sister. this image where the two of them are laughing – i love it!

as a mom, i love to see my two boys playing together, laughing together – even if they are laughing at me! which is often the case!
